I'm a weather and energy scientist, an adventurer, a martial artist and an avid lover of Mother Nature.

I currently work at MAG Energy Solutions as a weather risk modelling specialist, building forecasting systems for electricity markets. Before that, I spent several years at Intact Financial Corporation quantifying weather and climate risk for the insurance industry. My foundation is in atmospheric research — I hold a PhD in atmospheric science and numerical modelling from the University of Nottingham (UK), and I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Waterloo, Canada.

I indulge my passion for life and personal growth through several avenues. I am immensely passionate about karate — I hold a 4th degree black belt in Okinawan Goju Ryu — photography, snowboarding, and diving.
